Terns now have a new home at a Dunbar quarry after a nesting raft was built for them as part of a joint community initiative.

The East Lothian Junior Rangers and Royal National Lifeboat Institution teamed up with Lafarge Tarmac and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds Scotland to help the birds which have lost their nesting sites along the east coast of Scotland.

The raft has been moored on the water near the public viewing area at the former quarry at Dunbar Cement Works.
