The Queen’s Baton Relay arrived in East Lothian on Tuesday to a sunshine welcome for around 21,000 spectators.

Hundreds of schoolchildren joined the crowds to cheer on the runners as they made their way from Musselburgh to Prestonpans, Cockenzie and Port Seton, Tranent, Longniddry, Aberlady, Gullane, Dirleton to North Berwick, Dunbar, Haddington and back to Musselburgh. Children at Aberlady Primary School have been researching countries involved the Commonwealth Games.
