Police in Dunbar are appealing for witnesses after a racially aggravated road rage incident on the High Street on the afternoon of January 3.

The incident happened around 4pm outside the post office on Dunbar High Street.

The male victim was driving from Victoria Street on to the High Street when he got into a confrontation with the female driver of a BMW.

They proceeded to have a verbal altercation on the pavement outside the Post Office, and it was then that the female driver allegedly racially abused the man.

Police are now asking that anyone who was near the Post Office at this time of the incident and may have witnessed this confrontation, to get in touch with police.

The suspect is described as white, mid 20’s, shoulder-length dark hair, medium build, Scottish accent.
