Where did you grow up?
I started life in North Berwick but when I was five we moved to Tasmania. We stayed there two years before heading to Los Angeles for four months then back to Scotland
On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you with your lot?
8 - life is good, challenging and fast moving. Like most people I have no idea where the time goes and wish I could find more to spend with my family and friends
What would it take to get this up to 10?
I would love to have my children living close by. At the moment their lives mean they are often far away
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
More like who did I want to be? The answer is Barbara Streisand
If you could give one bit of advice to your 18-year-old self, what would it be?
Believe in yourself and commit to everything you do
When was the last time your cried and why?
I cried a few weeks ago from joy when I got a tax rebate
What’s your greatest achievement?
Being part of making four amazingly special people who happen to be my children
What three things would you still like to do before you die?
Fly to Australia in first class - anywhere in first class actually, take a cruise down the Nile, star in a major feature film with amazing special effects

That Santa Claus wouldn’t be back next year because he had to take presents to all the younger children

Once you had £1 million in your bank account you had to pool the rest in a shared pot for your community to share

Who or what is your greatest inspiration?
I’m inspired by people who have created something out of nothing and never give up
