Viewing day for stolen goods in Dunbar

A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged with a number of alleged thefts from properties in East Lothian.

Various items had been reported stolen from sheds, garages and vehicles across Dunbar over the past few months and many of these have now been returned to the rightful owners.

The man was scheduled to appear at Haddington Sheriff Court yesterday (Tuesday).

However, a number of goods have yet to be identified and locals are asked to come forward if they believe their possessions have been stolen.

Lothian and Borders Police will host a viewing day for the recovered items on between 2pm and 9pm on Wednesday, February 14, at the Hallhill Centre in Dunbar.

Any Dunbar resident who believes they have been victim of a theft is welcome to attend.
