Tourism boost for East Lothian

East Lothian is set to benefit on the back of a major business tourism event that has taken place in Scotland.

Scotland Means Business, organised by VisitScotland’s Business Tourism Unit, brings together meeting and conference organisers from around the world with Scottish businesses to discuss the wide array of conference and event opportunities that Scotland has to offer.

More than 50 representatives from countries including North America, Germany, France and Spain, emerging market Russia and the UK and Ireland experienced first hand some of the country’s best venues, suppliers and event providers, enhancing the status of Scotland as a world class destination for meeting, incentive travel and corporate hospitality.

Over the two days, attendees participated in a series of planned 15 minute face to face meetings with over 40 Scottish venues, hotels and event organisers showcasing the very best of what Scotland has to offer.
