Promenade House, Musselburgh Conservation Society presenting its annual design award Clive & Susan Andrew with the 2012 Award

A seafront house of “striking contemporary design” has been praised by conservationists for its contribution to Musselburgh’s built environment.

Considered to be the best of the town’s newly completed projects, Promenade House near Fisherrow Harbour is the latest recipient of Musselburgh Conservation Society’s annual design award.

Designed by Wiszniewski/Thomson Architects for clients Clive and Susan Andrews, the house was the most popular choice when members of the society were asked to vote at their recent annual general meeting.
