Swimmers to bare all for cancer charity

It is hoped that more than 400 naked swimmers will take to the Firth of Forth off the East Lothian coast on June 2 to raise funds to support the work of Marie Curie cancer care nurses.

The challenge, which will take place in a natural cove beach against the backdrop of the lighthouse on Fidra island, is bidding to enter the record books.

The current world record was set in June 2011 when 413 people swam naked at the same time off the coast of Llangennith in south Wales which raised £40,000 for the charity. A registration fee of £15 will be charged.
