Support for Haddington town vision project

Around 200 people turned out to support the public launch of a project to develop Haddington for the future, much to the delight of organisers.

The meeting in the Corn Exchange on Monday night gave local residents the chance to look at a vision document for the town centre, which has been drawn up by consultants at the request of community groups.

Haddington and District Community Council, Haddington Business Association, Haddington History Society, Haddington and District Amenity Society (HADAS), Social Enterprise East Lothian, Knox Academy and East Lothian Council are all backing the initiative.
