A GROUP of old soldiers, including one from Prestonpans, have been inspired by Prince Harry to strip off for a charity calendar.

The former members of the Royal Scots - most holding a carefully-positioned glengarry - stand proudly to attention in front of Scottish landmarks.

Tom Logan, who organises local meetings of the Royal Scots Association at Prestonpans Royal British Legion, is among the veterans stripped off to raise money for the 1 SCOTS Soldiers and Dependents Fund.

The calendar is the brainchild of former Colour Sergeant Peter Cockburn (67) from Bo’ness, who hopes it will give the 1 SCOTS, currently in Helmand province, a morale boost.
