Shine a light on a new talent

UKULELE lessons are on offer as part of the New Year term at Lamp House Music in Haddington.

Tutor Fraser Fulton from North Berwick, will teach classes for both children and adults at the music centre which based in an original Victorian railway building at Station Yard in Hospital Road. He set up the North Berwick High School Ukulele Orchestra with Carl Roderick, head of computing, in 2010 and it now has more than 30 members.

Fraser, who has been playing ukulele, guitar and other instruments for more than nine years, has an HNC in acting and performance but has spent the last couple of years teaching music to children and adults. He also founded the ska band Victorian Trout Conspiracy who play regular gigs across the country.
