Service is welcomed

The new timetable providing improved links between villages and towns in the west of the county and Edinburgh has been welcomed by East Lothian Council.

East Lothian Buses service 113 – with its new green single deckers – operates seven days a week from Pencaitland and Ormiston through Musselburgh to Edinburgh city centre and the Western General Hospital.

Buses run every hour from early morning to late evening, with extra buses on Monday to Friday morning and evening rush hours.

In partnership with Lothian Buses, which runs East Lothian Buses, all Monday to Saturday evening journeys and all Sunday ones are subsidised by the council, which will contribute £1,870 a week for about two years.
