Screen test in Dunbar

The public has given the thumbs up for a plan to create a ‘virtual acquarium’ at Dunbar.

Around 1,600 visitors popped into a high tech Igloo cinemax at the East Beach which gave them a taster of what the real thing could look like. Films about the sea were shown in 360 degrees on an Igloo screen.

The temporary cinemax was organised by the Shore and Habour Neighbourhood Group which is working to improve the appearance of the seafront. The group gauged opinion on its plan to locate a similar screen in a permanent ‘Coastlife Centre’ at the beach which would show films about the Scottish coast.
