The date for the Scottish independence referendum has been revealed as Thursday, September 18, 2014.

First minister Alex Salmon told the Scottish Parliament as draft legislation on holding the vote was brought before it.

Voters will be asked the yes/no question, “Should Scotland be an independent country?”

Which way will you be voting? With a price tag of millions of pounds, do you even agree with holding a referendum in the first place?
