School’s new library is opened

Councillor Peter MacKenzie opens the new library at Prestonpans Primary School

Councillor Peter MacKenzie was accompanied by Pat Kinross from Prestongrange Parish Church at the official opening of the new library at Prestonpans Primary School.

Staff and pupils were delighted to receive a large donation from the ladies who run afternoon teas at the church to add the finishing touches to their new facility.

The money was used to buy comfortable chairs, cushions and fairy lights to create a magical atmosphere in which the children can read and relax.
