Prestonpans based Musical Youth present the Sound of Music.

Prestonpans Community Centre will be alive with The Sound of Music later this month as Musical Youth presents its latest production.

The talented cast of seven to 17-year-olds are busy rehearsing the Rogers and Hammerstein classic in preparation for three evening performances on February 21, 22 and 23 and an afternoon show on February 23.

The Sound of Music tells the story of a free spirited nun, Maria, who takes on the job as governess to the Von-Trapp family of seven children. Unlike her predecessors, Maria becomes friends with the children due to their mutual love of music.
