Plans to mark 100th anniversary John Muir's death

There are plans to mark the 100th anniversary of the death of Dunbar's most famous son, the conservationist John Muir, in 2014.

Speaking at the monthly meeting of the local community council, Councillor Paul McLennan said a meeting about the John Muir Strategy was due to be held on Tuesday.

Muir, who was born in the High Street, emigrated to America as a boy.
