North Berwick school charitable support

Pupils on the charities’ committee at North Berwick High School have been busy raising more than £3,000 for Help for Heroes and Muirfield Riding Therapy over the past year.

Beth Gardner and Lara Frostwick, along with classics teacher Kaye Macaskill, are pictured handing over a cheque to Susan Law (second left) from Gullane-based Muirfield Riding Therapy, which provides horse riding for children and adults with disabilities.

Nina Murdoch and Rhona Thomson are also joined by Mrs Macaskill to present a cheque to Dan Walker of Help for Heroes, which helps those wounded in Britain’s current conflicts. Each charity received £1,625.
