North Berwick Rotarians collect for charity.

North Berwick Rotarians raised just under £2,000 for local charities in their festive fundraising efforts.

They collected at the local Tesco store and at a ‘Santa down the Street’ parade, accompanied by a piper and accordionist disguised as Mrs Claus.

A club spokesman said: “We would like to thank everyone who contributed so generously to the collections in the High Street and at Tesco just before Christmas.

“We are also grateful to the Tesco management for giving us the facilities to continue our annual collection and to the motorists of Nort Berwick for their patience when following the sleigh.”
