New members welcome at North Berwick Floral Art Club
New members and visitors will be welcome to attend the next meeting of North Berwick and District Floral Art Club on September 9.
The group ended its programme for the summer recess with an array of contemporary and traditional arrangements by Marie Rutherford.
In her demonstration 'What's Next' she used a Mikado stick screen, horizontal mesh bow, triangular shaped willow structure and horizontal and vertical stands were manipulated into place.
Cherry Brandy roses, orange carnations, cerise pink gerberas, purple dendrobium orchids, blue agapanthas, creamy pink roses and honeysuckle were arranged to form elegant and interesting displays of colour and form.
A vote of thanks was given by Marion Prince.
The next meeting will take place at 7.15pm in the community centre.
