Last chance to enter awards
The countdown is on for the people of East Lothian to nominate young, inspirational people for the Young Scot Awards 2013, closing on the February 17.
The Young Scot Awards are a chance to celebrate the achievements of 11 to 26-year-olds who have worked tirelessly to improve the lives of others, made a real difference to their local community, or have achieved something truly inspirational.
Now in its eighth year, the awards recognise the passion and dedication shown by young people across the country. The event allows Scotland the chance to hear and celebrate the inspiring work of young people across 12 categories, including cultural diversity, arts, health, enterprise, heritage and volunteering.
Three finalists in each of the categories will be selected and invited to the spectacular awards ceremony and star studded celebration in the Glasgow Crowne Plaza and the SECC’s main Clyde Auditorium on 19 April 2013 where the winners will be revealed.
For further information and to nominate a young person or group, please visit www.youngscotawards.co.uk before midnight on February 17. Tickets for the ceremony can be bought online at www.ticketssoup.com
