Kevin's sudden hair loss for charity
Hirsute firefighter Kevin Davanna hopes to slip into his uniform so much quicker having undergone successful — if somewhat painful — hair removal treatment.
A member of Bannatyne's Health Centre in Newcraighall, Kevin, of Atholl View Crescent, Prestonpans, has raised around 500 for charity by going for a new, sleeker image.
He was inspired to undergo the hair waxing treatment by one of his colleagues at Newcraighall Fire Station, who has been successfully treated for cancer at Edinburgh's Western General Hospital.

The proceeds of his charity hair wax will be donated to Ward 3, which specialises in the treatment of neck and throat cancer.
Kevin is grateful to management and staff at Bannatyne's, who supported his fund-raising effort, and everyone who sponsored him.
