Honorary degree award for North Berwick man

A North Berwick man, who was described as “an inspiration to students”, has been honoured by his old university.

Geoff Day, now director of communications for Mercedes-Benz US, received an Honorary Doctorate of Business Administration from Edinburgh Napier University.

Other key figures recognised at the autumn graduation ceremonies in the Usher Hall last week were Bollywood star Sharmila Tagore, Anil Kumar, the Consul General of India in Edinburgh, and Robert Rankin, former Deputy Dean of Edinburgh Napier University,
