After many years of supporting the work of Poppy Scotland, Haddington-based Prentice Coaches have gone a step further by fitting their entire fleet with custom-made poppies to mark Remembrance Day.

Managing director Ross Prentice said: “We normally fit small campaign stickers to our coaches which Poppy Scotland supply to us, but this year when one of our drivers Tom Montgomery suggested we fit larger poppies to our coaches, I immediately thought this was a great idea.

“After gaining permission from Poppy Scotland to produce our own self adhesive poppies – to their design – we made them in-house, as we already make all our own logos and lettering, and have fitted them to our fleet for the month of November.”

Tom Montgomery is pictured with one of the buses which now bears the poppy emblem.
