Floral delight in Musselburgh

Members can look forward to another interesting year when Musselburgh Floral Art Club resumes on Wednesday, September 12.

“Come let us sing and dance” will be the theme as Alyson Christie from St Andrews is welcomed as the first demonstrator of the session by new chairman Margaret Strachan.

The club meets in St Peter’s Church Hall at 7.30pm on the second Wednesday of each month, when a warm welcome is extended to new members.

Most meetings involve a visiting demonstrator creating five arrangements, which are raffled at the end of the evening. In addition to its regular demonstrations, the club holds workshops, visits other clubs and takes part in community events. For information call 0131 665 4571.
