Fun activities in East Lothian on Friday have raised hundreds of pounds for Children in Need.

Pupils at Knox Academy in Haddington celebrated netting a record £800 for the charity with their enthusiastic efforts which included a bake sale.

Local fitness instructor Laura Ross held a Zumba fitness party in North Berwick which raised just more than £400. Lots of pennies were collected by the children at her Zumbatonic classes in East Linton after they filled in their Pudsey coin-fill sheets and dressed up in spots for their classes.

Laura would like to thank everyone who supported the cause. Children in Aberlady dressed-up and paraded through the village. Pupils at Dunbar Grammar School took part in a house challenge and everyone was charged £1 to dress down.
