Dunbar Sea Cadets receive honour

Dunbar Sea Cadets.

Dunbar Sea Cadets have received the Burgee - the highest recognition of achievement in the sea cadet corp.

The Burgee, awarded following the unit’s annual inspection, presented by Daniel Jardine, deputy irector of training for Marine Society and Sea Cadets. The Burgee reflects the high level of training, community participation, events, uniform, and staff and cadet attendance of the unit.

Achieving the Burgee was part of a five year plan and officer-in-charge Michael Kaszuba was delighted to report that the award has come a year ahead of schedule.
