Dunbar Probus president ends term

Dunbar Probus Club concluded the year with its annual general meeting and a valedictory address by outgoing president David Broomfield.

Mr Broomfield said how much he had enjoyed his year in office and wished Robert Halpern well as his successor.

Jack Wilson was elected as vice-president, with Michael O’Donnell taking on the role of secretary/treasurer.

The committee will comprise S Bunyan, public relations; A Johnston, syllabus; A McCraw, meeting arrangements; W Cowan, auditor; J Thorburn and K Campbell.

At the conclusion of the business, Tom Anderson gave an illustrated talk on his visit with Mrs Anderson to Canada, entitled from Niagara to Vancouver via the Pentangle Vee Buffalo Ranch.
