Cycle advice from ‘Dr Bike’ will be available in Dunbar over the next six months.

Daniel Waters is already a familiar face as one of Sustaining Dunbar’s ‘Dr Bike’ mechanics, ensuring that children’s bikes are safe to use. He also helps get bikes out of sheds and back into use. Through this. and his practical experience of cycling everyday with his three young childrem, he was considered the idea candidate for a new role with the group which is a community development trust.

For the next six months he will be offering advice to people about how to look after their bikes and how to find safe, quiet cycle routes. He will also be running cycle training classes for adults and children as well as recruiting and supporting volunteer cycling buddies.
