Death knell sounds for MS holiday home
The MS Society's Board of Trustees has announced that Leuchie House, a holiday home for multiple sclerosis sufferers near North Berwick, will close unless "another provider" is found to take it over.
The shock move has left staff and users of the facilities devastated.
Guests and supporters of Leuchie have vowed to try and save it from closure in November.
Their efforts are being supported by East Lothian's Labour MP Fiona O'Donnell and MSP Iain Gray who visited Leuchie on Monday.
Mr Gray is also seeking an urgent meeting with Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon to discuss the issue.
