The award-winning choir from the Compass School and Prestonpans theatrical group Musical Youth and Encore will celebrate the attraction’s ‘Christmas Through the Ages’ event which will take place on Saturday, December 8, and Sunday, December 9, from noon until 4pm.

Visitors will also seen how Christmas trees, festive dinner menus and gifts have changed over time including toys dating from the Second World War to the 1970s and 1980s.

There will be a Santa’s grotto on board the attraction’s Boeing 707 aircraft and children will have the chance to make and take home Christmas decorations, wrapping paper and pictures.

General manager Steve McLean said: “Our Christmas Through the Ages event is the ideal way to get into the Christmas spirit. The combination of beautiful music from award-wining local children with a host of family-friendly activities makes this the perfect start to the Christmas season.”
