Charity to hold social event

A night of music and entertainment is being organised in Pencaitland Bowling Club next month to raise money and increase awareness about the work of the children’s charity Richmond’s Hope.

Established in 2003 in the Niddrie area of Edinburgh, Richmond’s Hope provides services to children in the Lothians between the ages of four and 18.

Working in purpose-built rooms, they help children and young people to rebuild their lives after the death of a significant person, through individual support and therapeutic play and family support.

The average cost per child is currently £1150 and 1900 families have been supported by the charity since its inception.
