Charity seeks more support

EAst Lothian residents are being urged to make becoming a volunteer with Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland their New Year resolution.

Helpers are always welcome at the charity’s communication support service groups which meet in North Berwick and Musselburgh and its shops in Dunbar, Haddington and North Berwick.

More than 1,000 volunteers already give CHSS 123,000 hours each year to support community stroke services and raise funds to help people who have had a stroke or are living with heart failure or chronic chest illness to enjoy a better quality of life.
