Centre staff spread their wings on a new adventure

Two staff members at the North Berwick-based Scottish Seabird Centre are off to pastures new.

Paul Nixon, manager of its ‘Discovery Centre,’ is relocating to Aviemore to take on the role of customer services manager at CairnGorm Mountain after eight years at the award winning coastal visitor attraction.

Julie Merrilees took her final bow after nine years as manager to embark on a new job as director of operations, finance and services with Scottish Ballet.

Both have enjoyed many highlights during their time at the seabird centre.
