A budding young North Berwick photographer has scooped the top spot in the junior section in the first ever North Berwick Business Association Photography Competition.

Cameron Smith (12) caught the boats at North Berwick harbour on camera, receiving £50 worth of Jessops vouchers.

The overall winner of the competition was Chris Fearn from Sheffield, with his dramatic and atmospheric image of Tantallon Castle. He was presented with £100 worth of vouchers.

The association’s committee, Yvonne Souness, Edward Danks, William Vernon and Laura Adamson, were the judges, along with Ian Goodall from North Berwick Photographic Society.

There was a diverse range of images submitted across all five categories from photographers right across the UK.
