Award-winning work is in the frame at club

Birds on branch

Birds on branch

There will be the chance to see work by award-winning nature photographer Laurie Campbell at Waterston House, the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club near Aberlady, until February 27.

The display, which will open tomorrow (Saturday), will showcase new images of Northern Britain from the vibrant colours of birds and plants in natural light, animal movement and landscape shots of dramatic natural phenomena such as the spectacular murmurations of starlings.

Mr Campbell is a leading natural history and landscape cameraman, and his own picture library of more than 120,000 images is believed to be the most extensive of its kind by any single photographer working in Scotland.
