Arrests over shop incidents in North Berwick and Haddington

Two women, aged 18 and 22, have been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged theft of clothing from the Wilkies store in North Berwick around midday on Tuesday January 24.

Both will appear at Haddington Sheriff Court at a later date.

Two men, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted robbery and assault that happened at a grocers in Traprain Terrace, Haddington, around 5.40pm on Tuesday.

Both were due to appear at Haddington Sheriff Court on Wednesday January 25.
