East Lothian MP warns of ‘copycat’ websites

East Lothian MP Fiona O’Donnell is warning local people to be aware of confusing ‘non-official’ copycat websites.

She is concerned that they are charging exorbitant fees for services that are free on official government websites.

Some constituents trying to access public services online have fallen foul of websites dealing with tax returns and applications for passports, driving licences and the free European Health Insurance Card.
