East Lothian Foodbank has secured a £10,000 grant from the Scottish Government’s Emergency Food Fund.

The Tranent-based group will now be able to expand its services to local people in food crisis.

The new project will provide a “square meal” recipe kit for all food parcels, a leaflet showing food parcel meal and recipe ideas, tips for eating healthily on a budget and on getting help with household budgeting through CAB.
