Gullane is to feature in a Channel Five series called 'The Property List' to be broadcast this summer.
A spokeswoman for Shiver, part of Granada's TV's factual department, said: "In each hour-long show we will count down 10 dream locations, that is towns or villages, on a theme."

Gullane will feature on the "fantastic villages" list as she explained: "The order of our countdown will be based on hard facts and figures — including official statistics on house price growth, housing availability, crime levels, employment prospects, school league tables . . . in fact, everything right down to health prospects and clean air."

The series will be presented by travel and lifestyle presenter Melissa Porter and property presenter Ian Blandford.
