Children in P4 at Dirleton Primary School put their old socks to good use . . . by artistically turning them into seal pups.

They attended a recent workshop at the Scottish Seabird Centre in North Berwick along with teacher Jan Holden.

The youngsters spotted lots of seal pups on Craigleith and the Isle of May using the centre's live cameras before designing their own.
