Humbie, East and West Saltoun and Bolton Community Council is to write letters to East Lothian Council and Haddington and District Community Council to see what can be done about the poor condition of roadway outside Haddington's Maitlandfield House Hotel.
"As there are no shop in Bolton this road is used on a regular basis by residents of the village," said a spokesman for the community council.
