An old stained glass window is to be restored and installed at Humbie Parish Church.
Originally commissioned in 1864, the window has now been lying around in a state of disrepair for many years.

The kirk session was given the go-ahead for the restoration project — expected to cost around £5,000 — at a meeting of Lothian Presbytery.

Presbytery recommended that the Church of Scotland's committee on art and artistic matters be consulted on the positioning of the window.
