The Musselburgh community is being consulted on the £3.2m refurbishment of the Brunton Hall, set to get under way this summer.
Detailed plans of the project — including the redevelopment of one of the county's largest public halls — will be on display in the foyer for the next few weeks.

Improvements to access into and within the building is also proposed, along with the provision of modern backstage facilities for the Brunton Theatre and new external signage.

The project is being funded by East Lothian Council, with independent consultants Scottish Cultural Enterprise being commissioned to carry out the consultation exercise.

Detailed report appears in Musselburgh News, February 5, 2010
