National Library Week is celebrated

Libraries in East Lothian are to to mark National Library Week:

There will be an open day at library and museum HQ in Dunbar Road, Haddington, on Friday, February 3, from noon to 5pm. There will be guided tours at noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.

Visitors are asked to arrive for one of these time slots and will be given information about what there is at Library HQ and what it does for the lending branches and schools.

This is a chance to see what happens behind the scenes to keep the library service going.
