Invite to see around Musselburgh estate

Bookings are being taken for the next in a series of guided tours of Newhailes Estate, Musselburgh, on Friday, February 24.

It’s a chance to join the team at the National Trust for Scotland property and explore the story behind the 18th century designed landscape.

Visitors are asked to take along outdoor clothes and sturdy shoes and must be able to walk for an hour without sitting. The walk is suitable for adults and children aged eight and over.

Tours will start at the visitors centre and will go ahead in all but extreme weather conditions. They will only go ahead, however, if at least four people have booked in advance.

The estate walking tours will run from 2pm to 3pm and will take place on the last Friday of every month, except December.

The number for bookings and further information is 0844 4932125.
