				     		     	<description><![CDATA[<!--PSTYLE=WINT Web Intro--><p>Musselburgh Windsor Amateur Football Club has started 2012 with a new look thanks to an Edinburgh property company.</p><!--PSTYLE=WBDY Web Bodytext--><p>Ross and Liddell set up its  Community Bursary Scheme last year and donated &#163;250 to the club, which used the funding to purchase a new change strip for its amateur squad.  </p><p>Mark Finlayson, team manager, said: &#8220;The Ross and Liddell bursary has allowed us to fund a new change strip, which is essential when there are so many teams and competitions at amateur level.  Musselburgh Windsor has been around for a long time but this team was only established in 2011 and this is their first competitive season.</p><p>&#8220;It was a natural progression for a boys club as large as Windsor to develop a senior team for boys to progress towards as they work through the age groups.</p>]]></description>

	     	<title><![CDATA[London finals for Loretto rugby side]]></title>

				     		     	<description><![CDATA[<!--PSTYLE=WINT Web Intro--><p>Despite a somewhat disappointing performance by the national Scotland Rugby team in their first two Six Nations matches, the Loretto School 1st XV team from Musselburgh are keeping Scotland&#8217;s dreams alive by winning the National Qualifier for the Schools 6 Nations Tournament hosted by London Scottish FC in Richmond in March.</p><!--PSTYLE=WBDY Web Bodytext--><p>The talented Loretto team took to the pitch in the  qualifying tournament in Edinburgh earlier this month and won all of their matches, beating Edinburgh BATS RFC, Ayr Academy,</p><p>Musselburgh RFC and Fettes College to secure their spot to represent Scotland against teams from England, Wales, Ireland, France and Italy in the finals. </p><p>The Powder Byrne School Six Nations Tournament will offer the Loretto team the opportunity to fly the flag for Scottish rugby and pit their skills against some of the leading rugby schools from the home countries, France and Italy, competing against each other at Richmond Athletic Ground over the weekend of March 11-13.</p><p>Danny Rossouw, Director of Rugby at Loretto, said: &#8220;This was an excellent achievement by the Loretto team and the boys are looking forward to travelling to London to represent Scotland in the finals of the 6 Nations.&#8221;</p>]]></description>

For Sheila Smith made history at the club when she took over this post from former commodore, Hugh Marston</p><!--PSTYLE=WBDY Web Bodytext--><p>Sheila, who lives in Dunbar,  started sailing as a teenager, learning on her father&#8217;s 14-foot clinker-built dinghy during holidays with her family on Loch Torridon. She joined ELYC in 1997, becoming assistant race secretary in 2006 and rear commodore in 2008.</p><p>A keen dinghy sailor, Sheila joins in club racing in North Berwick most weekends.</p>]]></description>
